Whats up guys! Welcome to the first Ragnarok M: Eternal Love journal post of 2020! I’ll be a weekly breakdown of ROM happenings and stuff. Enjoy!
If you don’t know I mainly play solo with an alt party of 5. This just gives me more flexibility with my time to play other games outside of Ragnarok Mobile. On Mondays I start off with the usual 30 mins of music to get that extra 30 minutes of combat time. After that I pop 2 Mentor potions and do 4 Cake battles.
Clearing wave 15/15 4x was easy this week. If you don’t know what Cake Battle is and you haven’t been doing it, you have been missing out! Its a Tower Defense instance where you try to Survive 15 Waves. You can get a Max of 4 Marshmallows per week which you can use to purchase headgear. When buying headgear off the store, you also get the unlock stats. Cool huh?
Here is my current setup.
Main Mechanic – Knuckle Boost / Arm Cannon Hybrid build
Alt Arch Bishop – Full Support build
Alt Royal Guard – Devotion Battle Chant/Heal build
Alt Warlock – Glass Cannon AoE build
Alt Sorcerer – Auto Bolter
Alt Champion – Ki Translation + Tower Upgrader
Obviously, my Mechanic was the main DPS. I have Knuckle Boost(Flame Heart boosted) on Auto and manually trigger Arm Cannon with Energy Cannon Rune when any fire resist mobs show up on waves 10+. Warlock and Sorcerer hold mobs in place with Meteor Storm, Quagmire and Spider Web. I have my Sorcerer put down Earth Field on top of us to make sure no AoE shenanigans happen to kill my alts.
Arch Bishop and Royal Guard keeps us topped off with Heal and Battle Chant. Arch Bishop has Lex Aeterna on Auto while the Royal Guard has Devotion to keep me alive from any 1 shots and Taunt to hold mobs in place to maximize my Arm Cannon Energy Cannon Rune procs. My Alt Champion is tasked to provide additional Ignore Def with Ki Translation and to upgrade the Cake Battle Towers.
It may seem difficult to control 6 characters but I’m really just controlling 2 characters at the most at the same time. All the other characters are set to Auto.
Cake Battle Rewards this week was pretty decent. See below:

Deposit: Max HP +10
Unlock: ATK +3
Wedding Veil
Deposit: Max HP +19

Coif
Deposit: Refining MATK +10
Unlock: MATK +4
I picked up the top 3 since I don’t really need the MATK. Coif is a fairly usable headgear for casters. Definitely pick it up if you don’t already have it. Oh and I purchased an Opal Box and got this…
Drooping Baphomet Jr
Deposit: Refine ATK +10
Craft: ATK +8 (sadly Opal Box generated headgears don’t doesn’t unlock the Craft/Unlock) stats
Decent score despite the missing stat unlock. To craft this manually you would have to use 20 Mastela Fruits!

After Cake Battle I go straight to Prontera and do Oracle Normal. I haven’t tried Oracle Hard with my alt party yet. I feel it would require a lot of micro-managing keeping my alts alive. It might be doable with 2 alt priests though. I’ll attempt it next week and post the results. Any tips?
Set up is pretty similar to my Cake Battle set up. I just use Arm Cannon a lot more in Oracle. Oracle Normal was easy this week with Moonlight Flower, Atroce and Orc Lord as Spawns.
I then summoned Dead Moonlight at the end. Easy slay!!

I do Endless Tower next and took line 2 on the Endless Tower List. You can find the list by clicking this link if you need it: https://www.ggdeeofficial.com//et Fairly standard run mostly set to Auto. I got surprise motherfuckered on Floor 100. Dark Assassin Cross Eremes was waiting at the door. No problem, I put down a Earth Field and 2 shot both him and Dark High Wizard Katerina then bonked Arch Angeling. Sadly no purple drops. Cursed as usual.
I then summoned Revenant Doppelganger and Revenant Detarderous. Dropped a Fire Field and went to town on them both. Drops were meh.
After my main I just run my 2 alts to floor 80-ish. I’m too lazy to build my 2nd Mechanic for ET at the momment. My Alts can only carry to 89 and 90+ on easy Endless Tower weeks. Still trying to get them strong enough for Niff MVPs.

After Endless Tower I do 2 Valhalla Ruins 100 and 80. Fairly easy most of the time. If I run into any hard to solo MVPs I either kite them with giant fly wings or cliff snipe them from the other side of the portal. Cliff snipping Gloom Under Night is satisfying lol. I still don’t know why that m-fer is so tanky.

Gear Update! Finally slotted and enhanced my Evil Bracer. Not sure if it will do better than a Rosa Bracer in PVM but it definitely wrecks in PVP. If you guys don’t know, Evil Bracers work with Arm Cannon. Pair it with the the Energy Cannon Rune and you can blow up a whole stack of people. Too bad I don’t War of Crystals with any guild at the moment lol. I enjoy my small WoE skirmishes though.
I’ll be working on my Rune Boots/Wolf Grandma Slippers next. Still undecided. What do you guys think?
I completed the garden upgrade for my house today. I’m working on getting a 2nd Pet Den so I can train intimacy for 6 pets. I still lack a handful of other fusion pets. That will definitely help.

Kind of proud of myself this week. I was able to finish weekly quests on Monday. I used to do these on the weekends which was annoying especially if I have other things planned. Trying to get into the habit of doing them on Monday.
